This page is dedicated to the worst of the worst, the deadliest and most destructive individuals that should be removed from power as soon as possible…if not removed from the planet entirely. Their mere existence is an insult to humanity, and is causing pain and repression for hundreds of millions of people on a daily basis that are forced to suffer under their deadly grip on total power. This list is not exhaustive, and is ranked by contemptible characteristics of arrogance, callousness, cluelessness, cultural betrayal, greed and economic devastation….and on the negative impacts they cause outside their own fiefdoms in terms of threats to peace, stability, and freedom in the world at large.

Depending on your definition and political beliefs, there are anywhere from 30 to 40 full-on dictators around the world today that exercise arbitrary authority over their citizens…that is, they are ‘leaders’ who cannot be removed from power through legal, non-violent means. Some of these dudes were former liberators of their states turned egocentric sociopaths; others are democratically-elected demagogues in disarray; but most are outright usurpers of political power via military might, hereditary hi-jinks, or hijacked revolutions. While these despots come from diverse backgrounds of debauchery, they all share a core of common callous characteristics which put them into the crosshairs of the high-powered rifle of history. Namely….

These tyrants suppress the freedoms of speech and religion, pogrom all political opposition, crush or control the press, and grab as much green as they can from the national treasuries/national resources of the state. They have been responsible (directly or indirectly) for millions of lives being lost, and crushing the human spirit out of hundreds of millions more. Most maintain their self-righteous positions by brutal repression, the use of torture, and systematically disempowering the peoples of their state by keeping them impoverished, illiterate, or misinformed via manipulation of the press. These self-absorbed, self-assured, above-the-law, power-hungry people hold all the cards in their societies. Ultimate power becomes ultimately corrupting, and the more power and money these assholes acquire, the more they must have. At all costs.

Below are brief bios of the Plaid Avenger’s top 12 most vile, villainous, vindictive, and venomous such snakes in positions of power on our planet. The Dirty Dozen, in all their inglorious detail. To quote Ben Kenobi: "You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious." He was talking about Mos Eisley spaceport of course, but I think the sentiment works here as well. Feel free to comment, make other recommendations for the list, or present arguments on how I’ve got it all wrong about these dudes…but to me, the world would be a better place without these guys around.
