Battle of the Pacific Blocks has Begun!!!!

Holy titanic trade tiffs! We got a full-on fight brewing in the Pacific between the future influencers of free trade…one that covertly has the US facing off against China…and you probably didn’t hear a damn thing about it in the US news yet, have you?  Was it just a coincidence that all major US officials have been visiting Australia and ASEAN in the last week? Not. Just after the big ASEAN meeting came the bigger EAS meeting, and then on the tail end of that came a surprise announcement: a RCEP trade block is forming up, the largest free trade zone EVER, and it does not include the US! Listen to the Professor rant about how this RCEP is now competing against the TPP for control of the Asia-Pacific soul! And holla back if you are interested at all in this interesting squall!

An Election Reflection…

With all the hype and grotesque amounts of money swirling around the all-important US election, the Professor offers a rant on the problems with the US system, which has morphed into a democratic monarchy, along with some comparative alternatives of elections and democracy and leadership systems around the world. Join the conversation, and take this country back from the royals!!!!

And if you enjoyed this rant at all, suggest a topic for tomorrow, and also pledge some dollars and get some prizes from the Plaid Avenger’s project at: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/johnboyer/interactive-educational-comic-app-plaid-avenger-in

A pre-election raging rant on the US economy is in order!

A pre-election raging rant on the US economy is in order! What sparked the Professor’s prolific and pugnacious prattle on this topic? 1)A story on the powerhouse manufacturing sector in Germany combines with 2)the total lack of any serious debate on this topic by the two wanna-be presidential contenders, as usual. Would love to hear your opinions on the state of the US economy and the US workforce in comparison to Germany’s….and your thoughts on how the US as a society should be fixing it’s sorry state of affairs.

The GCC? It’s the Persian Gulf Place to Be!

Hilary Clinton just met with the GCC, and the US is selling hell-tons of weapons to the GCC, and the GCC is developing a joint missile defense shield…and…and…and…and who the hell is the GCC? It’s the Gulf Cooperation Council, and it is increasingly the most important player to consider for the future of virtually all Middle Eastern show-downs and US strategic partnerships! It is possibly the “NATO” of the Persian Gulf! So dig this knowledge and let’s get this GCC discussion started!

Hatin’ on Hillary?

Despite US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s successful professional career and intense work ethic, she often comes under attack from abroad, sand at home. What is up with all their Hillary hatin’? The Professor offers a few thoughts about why the most politically powerful woman in US history so often is targeted for attack…but he is more interested in your opinions on Madame Secretary and the former first lady as well.
